Donnie launched the Donnie Simpson Podcast Network, and its first show — also self-titled — on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. The show will be produced by Podville Media, a D.C. podcast production company and its first season sponsored by AARP. The first three episodes of "The Donnie Simpson Show" were released simultaneously and feature interviews with recording artist Smokey Robinson, and actors D.L. Hughley and Tichina Arnold. The 10-episode first season featured interviews with titans of music, film, and comedy.

On October 1, 2025, Donnie relaunched The Donnie Simpson Show podcast with an exciting new season, fresh set, and an updated lineup of guests. Each episode features celebrities engaging in authentic and in-depth conversations with Donnie, offering listeners a front-row seat to the insightful discussions he has been sharing for over 50 years. Tune in to experience the captivating stories and personal insights from some of the industry’s biggest names!

With the podcast network, Simpson wants to build something tangible he can pass down to the next generation. “You can’t hand down popularity. That dies with you,” he said.
